malayali or tamilan ? he is a Human.. a real human being, thats what i think. Usually malayalees, including me, used to and like to think that he might have a connection with kerala, since his father was a musician in malayalam movies. but, it is obvious that in early times, all malayalam movies

Dear Sunil, This is for your information. Rahman is not at all a Malayali. He is a pukka Tamilian and he is a pukka Chennai resident. This was told by himself in an interview. So clearly understand that RAHMAN IS A TAMILIAN and NOT A MALAYALI, though his father might have been in Kerala

hey guys..   i thought rahman was a tamilian till today..now i got doubt that he is a malayali aft i saw the mail from kerala fan club...i hav heard him say that his mother tounge was tamil..he studied in ooty too...he happened to be in kerala for few yrs wit his dad who was a composer
