I missed the first step about configuring external authentication in the AR
System server. After doing this I was able to complete Atrium SSO
configuration for AR System Integration and use

I also faced same error and resolved it by following way --
Step 1 : Stop Mid-Tier tomcat service.
Step 2 : Stop AR Service.
Step 3 : Stop SSO tomcat service
Step 4 : Start SSO tomcat Service.
Step 5 : Wait for 3/4 minutes and then start AR Service.
Step 6 : Wait again for 5 minutes

transfertype=SYNCTOTARGET should probably not be used at the same time as a
qual-row. The search will be performed in both source and target. As the
target ARX-files has not been created yet, the search can not be done. And if
it had existed, you might nog get the result you were aiming at.
