That is an interesting option. A few years ago when we had a WWRUG Remedy
server we kicked around the idea of replacing LISTSERV with a Remedy app. I
had a few thoughts regarding UI and structure (I think I even may have
started a mock up). We already had profile form that automated User record

I agree changing to an open source (aka free) solution makes more sense
over keeping it on LISTSERV. Even if we have a successful crowdfunding
campaign, we'll be having this conversation again next year around this
time.

versus the BMC Communities. I know there are a lot of old timers on the
ARSList that have a lot of experience. The volume is definitely not what it

To me it also seems like the activity has gone down a lot on the list.
Transferring to, GNU Mailman should not be that tough I think. And in addition
to that we need to put some archive search capabilities in place (swish-e?). So
all in all there will be some hours needed to get this going.
As a newer member of ARSList I can say I rely more on BMC communities than
finding information here. Just seems there are more people actively floating
around communities site.
