(I remain extremely grateful for the support this list provided me over the
years while I maintained/managed Remedy at Kansas State University!)
I want to freecycle some of my Remedy RUG shirts (see inventory below) to
anyone who wants them. I am retired now and am downsizing
The ARS 7.0.01 compatibility matrix says Help Desk 5.5 is compatible still.
Has anyone actually done this? If so, I'd like to hear about the adventure...
We currently have
Help Desk 5.5.1
ARS 5.1.2
Mid-Tier 6.3
Solaris 8
Oracle 9i rel 2
We are moving to a different box for development.
Humble t

and Oracle DBA and yourself, is being able to put DST to rest as an issue
and just to avoid confessing to all your customers that you aren't patched
to deal with it twice per year.

We are using ARS 5.1.2 and Mid-Tier 6.3 on Solaris 8. Solaris is patched
for DST already.
I'm trying to make sure I'm understanding everything about DST and this mix
because I'm not convinced an "hour off" for a month matters for us. This
isn't Y2K all over again; done that.
According to the DS
A desktop support manager shared with me that he is currently running Remedy
UT client version 5.01.02 Patch 1238 on Windows Vista and is not having any
noticeable issues.
