I would forget about embedding images on the email (that was my first
option). Since the midtier server is not at DMZ and not open to the
internet, I will publish images on an open server.
About mobile terminals, maybe it will be a concern at a near future, but

I'm starting to customize the notifications that come OOTB with ITSM. I'm
completelly new to the Notification Engine, Mail Engine and so on.
The customer requirement is to made the notifications a bit more graphic,
with the company logo and corporative colors.
My questions are:
All your outgoing templates are and should be in sys:notifications form.
Customizing them in HTML sometimes Get a bit tricky but there's a guide on mail
engine and how to customize that explains the basic fairly well.

I think that I must create a template, with the attached images. Then use
img src=cid:... inside the text.
Is it a good approach?
