Just to let you know that I am about to try exactly the same thing at a client
site: DSO 7.0 to 7.5 servers so older data is available for reporting. Thanks

data, even when they were not listed in the custom mapping. I conclude that

The encrypted passwords don't seem to match (even though I have
7.1 was different enogh that cmdb has to have a dot release 2.1.

working (partially) in one direction, that segment of the passwords are
probably good.
In general, the passwords in the conf file need to match up ServerA
DSO-User-Password needs to match ServerB DSO-Target-Password. I
Running DSO bidirectionally between 7.1 and 7.5 - I did run into a problem
with passwords - if you enter them through the system admin screens, they
don't encrypt properly - compare the encrypted pwds in the conf files and
make sure they are identical - I ended up doing a cut and paste in the conf

I'm attempting to DSO between two servers, one is running 7.0.01 Patch 011
200906180730, and the other is running 7.5.00 Patch 005 201005111542
In one direction, (7.0.1 - 7.5) I can create records via Distributed
Transfer, but so far,
