Does HP Loadrunner support parameterization of backchannels if it is to be
used for Performance Testing of Remedy?

Just be careful not to mix functional testing with load testing. LoadRunner is

I would just add that in the same way as using multiple user accounts may

data variability in your test transactions. Introducing variability (variable

ARS 7.5. For stress testing, is there any difference at the midtier layer
between using a few users * multiple concurrent transactions vs. Lots of
users running single tx?

We have used Loadrunner successfully against Midtier 6.0, 6.3 and 7.01.
We have not tried using it against 7.1 though. Remedy Midtier is a
fairly standard java application. If the people creating the scripts in
loadrunner have used it against a java application before, it should
work similarly
Through Mid-Tier?

Our test team is saying that when they try to do performance testing as soon
as mid-tier opens a popup window (Open Window Action : Dialog) they loose
visibility to the application. Has anyone experienced something similar and
is there anything I can do to help them get it working on Mid-Tier 7.1
