** At this point I do think it is a DBA issue.  I have tried running the entire process without upgrading to SQL 2005 server and I recieve the same error whether it's ARS 5.x, 6.x or 7.x.  But conversely, I havent found anyone who's sucessfully performed this 5.x to 7.x migration/uprgade on MS SQL
