All,
We are about to deploy a AR System 7.5 + ITSM 7.6 on SQL Server 2005. What is
the recommended way to handle un-fragmenting of the ARSystem Db indexes?
More Specifically:
1. Does un-fragmenting the indexes give us any performance boost or does it
cause more problems when trying to fix?

Do you mean Express?, if so I have the install, contact me off list.

Anyone know where I could download a trial version of SQL Server 2005?
Microsoft has a page for it but when I try it says 2005 is no longer
available, get 2008 instead. Thanks a bunch.

Hello All
Hello All,
ITSM 7.0.01
SQL Server 2005
We are getting the strangest error in the sql logs, trying to reference the
table "spt_server_info".
I have spoken with our DBA and he said this table only existed in SQL Server
2000 and not in 2005.
Has anyone seen anything like this? I don
We ran 7.0 on MS SQL Server 2005 from February 2007 to October and have
been running 7.1 on SQL 2005 since then. We haven't experienced any

None. I just installed a new 7.1.00.001 system against SQL Server 2005
Sp2 on a separate server - both servers are on Win2K3 Enterprise x64.
The "secret" I have found to the installation is to be logged in to the
AR server with the Windows domain account that you want the service to
We have been ruuning it in a Dev. environment for about a month with
no major problems noticed.

Looks like something crashed your server when it made the query. Check
your arerror.log and arthread.log and see if you find more details on
that.

Have you seen what is the query it runs against the database? Run an SQL
log and see what you get..
