Conclusion: most people don't care. There are 912 list subscribers, not
counting the 483 NOMAIL people who wouldn't have seen the discussion, and
few had comments/votes.
Of those that cared enough to reply, 5 (including me) want to keep the
current Reply-To= List,Respect, and 3 (including frank.
A bunch of adminstrivia:
- the very interesting discussion about dump reading/learning dump
reading/etc today would be a lot more accessible in the archives if the
subject included something about 'dumps' rather than '3 job openings for

Yes, UGA is on an outdated version of Listserv: I hope to be able to tell
you we're upgrading RSN, but it always gets pushed back because it still
works, and there are other priorities.
But that's totally not the problem here. The current version has

Yeah, this is why, after thinking about it, I did not change this list to
Reply-To= List,Ignore
Sometimes personal replies are desirable/necessary. See the recent "Happy
Gilmore" thread: I wanted to get further discussion off-list to annoy
fewer people.

OK, I'm fed up too. I tried. Anyone who persists in this inanity will be
moderated. And I don't read the list all day, so posts will be delayed.
Per Google, "coloro che sanno" means "those who know". Did we need to
look this up?
