Yep !
Well, you are in the right place.
My ASSP experience is 99,5% accurate spam-blocking.
I had the same experience with spamassassin. That's why I am
here :-)

Hi Nelson,
If this is only the specs for ASSP (and no other server, like
an MTA, or a webserver on the same box), then it is more than
enough.
Fritz, correct me here if I am wrong, but I think this is a
good spec for ASSP.
Nelson, would you like to share with us your experience with
SpamAssassi
I'm new to assp since I usually used spamassassin and want to replace it and
use assp. I'll be installing assp to AMD 2Ghz, 40GB HD and 512 DDR400.
Does it meet the hardware requirements?

For what it's worth I have *never* had a successful catch of Eicar with ClamAV
on ASSP.
When I emailed the list I don't remember getting affirmation that it worked so
I disabled it and worked on the assumption it wasn't installed/working

and I can confirm it; running it in production w/o any issue and btw
it solved a lot of minor problem/issues; I can heartly recommend
upgrading to 1.5.0; ok, maybe you'll have to upgrade or install some
perl modules, but
It is difficult to guess what may be wrong. If you want, send me your

It would be great, if you can install 1.5.0.. I promise you, it is
stable. But for me it is simpler, because all bugfixing is already in
it.
For upgrading Just replace assp.pl and copy
Hi Fritz. Version 1.4.3.1 and I've tried flaggeds...@mydomain.org and another
email of a user that just left.
A lot of the settings in Collecting are set to 'spamfolder & sendAllSpam'
and hovering over the sendAllSpam link shows dbl...@mydomain.org, which is
what's currently set.
Thanks for your

I've tried two different local addresses in the sendAllSpam field, as well as
CatchAll, but nothing is sent to them. Is there another setting somewhere
that overrides this? Something else to enable it?
Thanks!
