Quite so..you are totally right..
Is easy to break that total anyway. 17K is indeep more or less half of a
nortel installation but is way over a regular installation for a 30
seats pbx or callcenter...without custom software implementations.

block of 40 hours at a time.
However, the point of my reply to the OP is that I start charging as
soon as I start working. That includes going over his inadequate
description of the work needed. Some people think I am arrogan
$50 an hour? What country? Not the US that's for sure.
Minimum you could get a decent phone guy is $75ish.
FWIW I'm $100 an hour if the customer inists on hourly. I'd rather quote
the price for the finished job.

I must agree. I got a local DID a few months ago. It isn't working right
and they have tried hard to get their vendor to resolve the problem.
They have reversed all charges for the number and they have furnished me
with test DID's so we could confirm that the problem is specific to that
vendor. I h
I use Voxbone and I am quite happy with them, I keep paying manually or
pre deposit so havent been affected by automated glitches.
