I do not agree. I'm in the CallCenter business and VoiceXML is very hot (as
hot as SIP). Of course each supplier come with its own extension but if you
remain very standard, it is quite portable. Personnaly, I don't know any of

Hi All
I have a number of brand new in still Cisco sealed box 7960's that I'm

I don't mind if the 7970's and 7914's are used as long as they

All calls will be routed through our T3 and then sent out over IP or

The VoIP scenario would be much better since the agents would log

Just been checking the legalities and it seems it's a no-go.
Can anyone confirm that, as it seems a bit unclear.. and some laws have been
changed as recently as this year..??
Any help appreciated,

Hi Adam,
DIDs from India is 100% illegal, no white routes can provide you DIDs legally.
So be aware with this requirement of yours.
Even if you manage to get it, its going to be real short term.

It is not a NO GO but the private carriers like Reliance CAN Do it, its the
matter of them
understanding the market size of the DID .
FORTUNATELY People in Pakistan were able to understand it, and now we have 2
legal
carriers selling it. I hope it will be done for India also soon.
Rehan
Rehan,
Yeah agreed for that issue.
Infact Reliance already got sued in recent past for doing that from
local Govt Carriers (they surely understand the market and are doing it
using small time players in the front)
But in any case, its not legal, since there is a clear mandate from

There is NOT enough demand as of today for DID , it will take some time, before

Is there such a beast available ? I've seen it in the marketing spiel,
but not on any website for sale.
I know that there is the a104d, but I've only got 1 ISDN line :)
If anyone knows where I can get a card for delivery to the UK, please
let me know.
Julian.
The Digium or Sangoma PRI cards don't work with BRI ISDN. You want
something else unless you're talking about the ISDN D channels in a PRI.
You should look at the TE212P card:
