You want to avoid danger, so set li
Hi,
I'm still pulling my hair out getting my queues setup in 1.2.13.
I went in to implement my custom "roundrobinreset" strategy (mentioned
in a post by me here:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2006-October/170713.html
and a similar issue is addressed by the developers back
It looks like this issue has been raised before, but I see it mostly
ignored and no answers given, so here it is again:
For the past couple of years, I've wanted a queue that works very
similarly to roundrobin/rrmemory, but that doesn't remember anything
about where the last ring went to. This
should not cause at least a
single VOIP conversation to have significant quality problems.
What might I be doing wrong w/ my Asterisk installation(s)?
Also, thanks to Digium and all of the developers, users and community
that have made Asterisk such a great offering over the past few years.
Thanks,

Many thanks, I knew I must be missing something simple.

My question was about setting the caller ID to be something other than
the broadvoice phone number. That way if I want to put an 800 number on
their display I can do so. I also need this because I am setting up
incoming DID numbers to the pbx. I need to set caller ID to show the
correct callbac
Hi,
I got a broadvoice "business" account under the byod(bring your own
device) program. I have applied the patches and created new asterisk
debian packages. I have the account working on inbound and outbound. The
problem area is outbound caller ID. I have 3 other accounts with IAX2
providers a
Hi guys,
I've got a quick feature suggestion to solve a problem that I don't
think is readily solvable having to do with an "after hours" message,
playing only during (or rather outside) specified times.
I know all about the helpful feature that already exists which allows
you to tack on a cron
Does this card only work as PRI or can it be used like a standard T-1 wired
to a PSTN Switch?

I too tried to get festival 1.4.3 working, but no luck. It appeared to compile just
fine. The server started okay. I don't have a sound card on the server so I can't
test it without *. When I invoke the * festival application, the asterisk process
gets 100% CPU time with no sound. I need to
