Asterisk 1.4.xx does not show the Zap channel instance:
Started three way call on channel 25
-- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/25-1'
Asterisk 1.2.xx would show:
Started three way call on channel 25
-- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/25-2'
1.4.21.1 core show channels:
Zap/25-1
recording goes on for 30 sec. then hangs up. Any idea on how
retrieve info that the called number is is out of service. My
understanding is cause code 1 is an unallocated number.

Being that that the FXS, still off hook when
the FXO hangs up, drops that connection to that FXO, Asterisk must know
the FXO has hung up but Asterisk does not release the FXO.

A customer had a question concerning long calls on his L.D. bill. The
two calls in question on the L.D. bill match the mysql output. The calls
are going out over a regular T1 outgoing only . Any ideas ?

asterisk 1.4.32 have zapata.conf soft link to chan_dahdi.conf to use
flash operator panel < 2.0
(from extensions.conf)
exten=> 304,1,ChanSpy(Zap/4|q)
exten=> 304,2,hangup
There is no entry ChanSpy(Zap/41) in extensions.conf
On dialing 304 and Zap/41 is in use this happens:
[Jul 1 18:24:47] VERB
The argument to chanspy is a pattern and not an exact match.
