[Asterisk-Users] CDR reporting between two Asterisk servers

2006-01-27 Thread kwijibo
Anybody know if there is a way to get one Asterisk server to report CDR information to another Asterisk server? I have a local Asterisk server and a remote Asterisk server. They talk via IAX2. I have calls that go as follows: PSTN-remote server-IAX2-local server-IP phone

I have the setup you described working somewhat. You *will* need a T1 crossover(at least I did). You also have to be careful about what the Definity is doing. After programming my Definity my CSU liked to stay in the loop state even though I put the thing in service. To compound the matters it

I would start with the basics. Are you sure the T1 is even operating correctly? Any errors/slipped seconds, etc? Maybe they haven't configured their end correctly yet? It almost sounds as if they have their end looped. I don't think Zaptel hardware can detect these. Just some ideas Steve Jeff

This may be a little to far into PBX land but... Anyone know of a place where there are good examples of how to configure the Definity PBX stations with PRI? I currently have a T1 between a Definity and Asterisk. It is currently doing robbed-bit signalling but I would like to do PRI. I can

Are you trying to change the password on the phone or the password it sends to Asterisk to authenticate with? To change the password to the phone you need to put: phone_password: somepassword in either the SIPMAC.cnf or the SIPDefault.cnf, depending how global you wish to make the password.

Depends if what you have in OS79XX.TXT is different then what is running on your phone. If it isn't it won't bother to touch the image files, if it is then it will try to load whatever image you have specified in OS79XX.TXT. So far I have been unable to tell the phones to boot out of anything but
