Lets say that you have two phones: Zap/1 and Zap/2
and there comes a call over IAX to Zap/1
since channel 1 is in the callgroup 1
and channel 2 is in the pickupgroup 1 channel 2 can dial *8 and pick up
the call that comes to channel 1.
