I've had a working Asterisk setup going for a while now, but am having
problems with the Zhone Zplex 10b thinking that during ringing, an
extension has answered the call when infact it hasn't. This only seems
to happen on some of the ports and doesn't appear to be specific to the
handset
I came across this hack while looking through chan_zap.c. Is this still
applicable for those w/ zplex cb's? Is it a maybe need or an absolutely
need? Any background info would be appreciated.

Good afternoon.
I got my hands on a couple of zplex channel banks, they are
suppoused to work with asterisk, and have a few questions ...
1.- Where can I get a recent firmware for it ? The swversion shows
zplex10b rel 1.0.1.
2.- In the back of the channel bank says, model: z-plex-1

Mine has been working well, but the only problem is that it doesn't
support callerid (from the POTS side).

I don't see them listed on Zhone's website (except in support), so I
suspect they've discontinued the product, but if it's a good product I
