I've configured my asterisk and voicemail all works fine but I want to
restrict call time to voicemail that is when user calls voicemail he
can use voicemail system only for a max of 5 min that is after five
minutes asterisk should disconnect the call.

absolute timeout before the call to VoiceMailMain.

I just implemented Asterisk as Voicemail server on our GSM network. Also MWI
notifications are working fine for me.
There are still some glitches but overall it's working for cellular network.
What type of cell switch you have? Do your GSM cell switch is also VOIP
gateway?

Then you'll want to configure the voicemail URI on the 7940 so that it
calls extension 8500.

i know there has been recent developements to the voicemail application
but
is this correct given a cvs download of early this month ??

I have Asterisk SVN-trunk-r7498 installed on a server (celeron 2.4 Ghz,
256MB) with a TDM40b a TDM04b and an avm fritz!card pci.
I experience a problem with voicemail: my messages are good unless the
incoming call comes from isdn, which means via the avm fritz!card. In

I'm very new to Asterisk. I tried VoiceMail() application. I'm able to
modify extensions.conf and voicemail.conf to send a voicemail audio file to
my email. It works great so far.
Now, I'm looking into publishing those voicemail files on a web page.
According to http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-
We use the default web interface, it comes with a file called vmail.cgi in
the defaiult Asterisk tree.

I just tried the vmail.cgi app. Although working, there is clearly a
permissions problem preventing playing the wav files.
