Do some one experiencing running jabber applications (jabberstatus...) in
asterisk? I do experinced Asterisk 1.4.18 and wish to start it, however I
got such result.

Indeed, through the dialplan configuration, Asterisk allows you to
place calls from whatever channel type (SIP, H323, ISDN, ..) to
GoogleTalk clients.
The revert call configuration is trickier though, as the GoogleTalk
client user interface does not allow you to dial numbers over DTMF for
example.

consuming all the CPU. This happens after a while (up to a day), not right
after asterisk is (re-)started.

Look for Asterisk-IM (http://www.jivesoftware.org/asterisk-im/)
It'll work with your jabber server. I don't know if it 'works' with Exodus,
but it will show if you're on the phone.

A couple of questions arising from using Jabber in svn trunk. If anyone
has any answers it would be gratefully received.
We are using Wildfire 3.0.0 (upgrading to 3.0.1 this weekend)
1) What are the pros / cons of using SASL and TLS in jabber.conf ?
We are currentl using usetls=yes and usesasl=
Would anyone know whether a jabber module would be in development for
asterisk? What I'm looking for is something like the SER module that's
out there, with capabilities to send SMS messages from jabber to a phone
connected to the system.
