That is correct, at least for the easy case.
Alternatively, you can specify the Asterisk location as an argument to

I've been having the same problem... The trouble is, the version of
gcc that Apple releases for OS X does not support the -shared
option, so any makefile directive which uses that can't be built.
This includes zaptel, libpri, format_mp3, and maybe more. I don't
know if there is a workaround...

I'd already checked the conf file and it looked ok. I recreated it from scratch (it's only got 4 lines!) and it now loads ok.

cdr_addon_mysql doesn't compile at all, no matter what the OS. I
contacted the authors a while back and they said they would get into
contact with Mark or something... Who knows what happened, but as far
as I know it's still broken.
