Actually, they have no monthly fee for 800 numbers, but you
pay 2.9c/min on incoming and US bound calls, and they have
a rate sheet for international dialling.
However, I do pay them $7.50 per month for a Michigan DID,
perhaps they had some other deal for a while, but thats what I
pay now.

Nufone.net has no monthly fee. Think of it as a prepaid calling card.
You put money into an account, then use it by the minute.
US calls are 2.9 cents a minute.
Vijay,
What is the rate of NuFone.net, not listed on their
web though.
I know voicepulse is $7.99 / month .

For what its worth, I just got started with NuFone.net ... and they
had me up and running in less than 3 hours (including installing
Asterisk on my box for me) with 2 Michigan DID numbers and
one toll free number.
So far, so good.
I'd appreciate (email me directly) any feedback on them, so
I know
Yep...
Been going well...with the exception they have not connected my DID line and
it has now been over a month since I got it connected.
Also I have found that for situations where you must have the ability to
call (call centre etc) it pays to have a second VOIP provider and standard
FXO lines.
