The /oldroot/cdrom directory (vfat partition) is automatically
remounted in 0.6.3, but this requires the RUNNIX vfat partition to
have a label of
Also in 0.6.3 the /oldroot/cdrom directory is no longer remounted in
astlinux after the pivot.

Hi Phil
in the past I have done this process from a command prompt by first
copying the contents of the tar file onto a USB stick and then mounting
this device on the target host, and simply copying the files across to
the os directory.

Sorry to be thick, but could someone expand the steps to upgrade to 0.6.3,
using only a command prompt on my AstLinux device? Or better still create
a batch file that just does it? I'm starting from a standard 0.6.2 image
on a CF card with plenty of room.
For example, in the instructions below, st

Hi
Either I am missing something fundamental or there is a startup problem.
I am using the astlinux-0.6.1-via.img.gz image.
I have set this line in the /mnt/kd/rc.conf to set the opermode to UK
and to turn debugging for the module on.
MODOPTS="wctdm:opermode=UK wctdm:debug=1"
This line appears
/etc/modprobe.conf is not a symbolic link to /tmp/etc/modprobe.conf
H, something may be wrong, the devs will have to answer this.

thank you for your replies.
I modified /mnt/kd/rc.conf as suggested by adding
MODOPTS="wctdm:debug=1"
After rebooting, the /etc/rc.conf file has soaked up the change as expected.
There was still no change to /etc/modprobe.conf.
Debugging was not enabled. I verified this by mak

I don't do analog cards, but...
-- /etc/rc snippet --
if [ -n "$MODOPTS" ]; then
for i in $MODOPTS; do
MOD=`echo $i | cut -d: -f1`
OPT=`echo $i | cut -d: -f2`
echo "options $MOD
Can you put the option in rc.conf, under MODOPTS?

Hi
I would like to update /etc/modprobe.conf to enable debugging of the
wctdm card (I am suffering occasional disconnects when connected over
the PSTN).
I have remounted the disk as RO and added the line
options wctdm debug=1
/etc/modprobe.conf and successfully saved the file. However after

I use my astlinux as my router at home and run a webserver behind it... the
DHCP server in the astlinux provides DHCP to my client machines inside... of
course the DHCP names the astlinux box as the DNS resolver - which is fine
as DNSMASQ is running... however if I go to http://www.cadillackid.co
