Okay, if you are trying to access your device using open ssh, did you try forwarding your ports on your rouder? port 22 is what you need to forward if you havn't done that already. Try it and let me know if that fixes the problem it sounds like tha

oh yes, I forgot about that kind of thing. but, in regards to disk quotas. I mean, I have them enabled, but when I go to the disk quotas modual, it's saying that the disk quota is inactive. ad so I click on enable disk quota
