Re: I want to start using reaper, some questions I'm not sure about any software instruments without midi, you could get a mixer and a few condencer and dynamic mikes, then record a guitar, drums, base, or what ever you want, then produce that in reaper, but i don't know how well software

Re: I want to start using reaper, some questions They both serve different purposes, so it's like comparing apples and oranges. Gold Wave is designed for single track editing, whereas Reaper is a fully featured digital work station that is usually used with multiple tracks at the same time
