vs code yeah, and the only real hangup I have with it is the thing where it doesn't want to refocus on alt tab, which who knows if that ever will be fixed. I saw that they flagged it as an upstream issue on Github, so yeah that basically made our chances go

I loved Visual Studio when I was working with CSharp and Visual Basic, but it's not doing well with Python, at least not for me. The IntelliSense is very slow and unreliable. Also sometimes when I choose a IntelliSense suggestion, it doesn't remove the letters

I'd say either visual studio 2017 or Visual Studio Code will be more to your liking, also depending on what language you are using. BGT is obviously not supported by either of them, angelScript might be but I honestly haven't llooked.Zersiax

I use Visual Studio 2017 which I like a lot, there are shortcuts to jump from code to solution explorer to output window to watches when debugging to search fields to go to files to pretty much everything. Now it depends if you are on Windows and the language
