Re: Viber Messenger
@19 You are correct in the above, unless you wish to subscribe for auto installing labels when new updates to a pack come out. As for Microsoft, I will save that for another thread.

Re: Viber Messenger
But an average user won't download a new label pack all the time, and they would go out of date every time a new update comes out. Microsoft apps aren't that bad, we just need to get used to them and if we accept some changes then they are okay...

Re: Viber Messenger
Keep in mind folks, not everyone wants to use Microsoft products, for whatever reason.Do I have a problem with them myself? No, though at least I try to look for alternative things. As for the labeling of buttons, someone could always make a pack of labels for Viber
Re: Viber Messenger
Indeed, they update it a lot and it changes a lot after every update. There was a time when i had to use it, but only with a blind fellow so there was no problem with stickers. But it didn't really work well with low connection, it always scratched or how to say
Re: Viber Messenger
I can't help but question the veracity that the app has over a billion users. What is the approximate count (Facebooks is 1.74 billion)? I just find it difficult to understand how an app can have 13.2 percent of the earths population when Facebook has 23.10 percent

Hello,Three issues are present with Viber at the moment and always:1. It tends to drain the battery too quickly, especially when on a video call.2. The program is unstable and the interface changes frequently.3. The application is screen-reader unfriendly. In my
Re: Viber Messenger
@12Thanks for trying out the application yourself as well. I have around four other people in a community I made for both blind and sighted people checking it out, and they aren't having too many issues! The way it is the versions for both IOS and Android at least
Re: Viber Messenger
Because it's not necessarily a well known program from a blindness perspective, no one has properly ever contact the developers of a Viber, or reviewed it on a podcast for the blind. Ora, people just don't want to take the time to learn the interface or ask
Re: Viber Messenger
Yeah, that's again great, but turning auto labeling on does not mean the app is accessible. Unlabeled buttons is not the only issue. There are unlabeled checkboxes as well, and back when I used it the only way to reliably answer a call was to turn talkback off

Re: Viber Messenger

Re: Viber Messenger
Comparing viber's accessibility to what'sapp's accessibility on iPhone, i can say that whatsapp is way accessible. For example, I can't figure out a way to delete chat's or calls on Viber no matter how hard I try.Oh one more thing, Viber is filled with ads.Best
Re: Viber Messenger
The windows app is totally inaccessible. I tried it a year ago but ehhm, nothing to say really. It's okay for iPhone, it's quite accessible, although it takes dmn lot of storage and that's why i hate it so much. But all in all it's quite good, but wouldn't use
Re: Viber Messenger
Yeah, this is all great and nice, but any mention of actual accessibility? Viber is pretty popular around here, however I hate it. First I don't know has something changed or you just didn't try it in some time, but voice messages were way, way worse quality than
