Anyway, even if those tiny speakers are off, you should still be able to get the sound out of headphones jack or line outputs.

I read, that on the Microkorg-S there's a setting in the global menu to turn speakers off and you have probably hit that, but still, usually global settings need to be saved to become permanent, otherwise they revert back when the synth

Okay, turning off and back on doesn't help. I tryed all the parameter knobs again to make sure that I can't get it back with a simple parameter.About the midi thing, i thought first it was that but hmm, still no sound. Probably someone should

If that's what happened, good chances are, that if you didn't save anything, especially the global settings of the instrument, then turning it off and on again should bring back the sound.

Are you sure you didn't just turn off local control? It means that when the local control is off, the synth responds to incoming midi, but simply doesn't control itself. Sutch thing can be useful in case, where you want to control your synth

Okay, from what I hear the speakers seem to be still active, means they don't seem to be turned off but still no luck in getting sounds back.
