I'm surprised they're still intending to send out the checks. I've read nothing about it as of late, like it just dropped off the map and the government is like "nevermind."

From what I understand, if you didn't file taxes in 2018 or 2019 and you receive social security, your payment will arrive the same way your social security payments arrive, either by direct deposit or mailed check.

I don't believe there are explicit guidelines surrounding SSI beneficiaries from the IRS directly; however, from doing a simple Google search, the prevalent understanding is that SSI recipients are eligible, but unless you filed for taxes in 2018 or 2019

they've said doing taxes will not be required. Originally they were going to make people fill out an abreviated form, and that didn't exactly go over well.My understanding is social security which I'm assuming is SSDI will get it, but I think SS

hellodoes anyone know if those on social security(SSI/SSDI) will receive the $1200stimulus check? to my knowledge it is only going to those that have filed taxes. and if people on social security can receive this, do we have to fill out a form online to do so? any
