One thing to note is that the room correction would lower the level
slightly depending on the amount of correction needed since the
adjustment is done mostly by cutting off the peaks to get the
frequency response closer to the target curves. So I would pick an
efficient pair.

people prefer active designs - that's fine too. Please don't try and
argue that passive is empirically better. You cannot prove this -

really is. Is it a word clock or a master clock? A word clock would be
44.1KHz (or 88.2), but the master clock is 11.2896. If the clock from
