24bit/48Khz and frames will be skipped in order to chop the 96KHz down

Thanks Mark that answers my question. Rips are pretty quick with

The discs that I have put in which are not recognised are, as you say,
probably a different pressing. In this situation the software falls

No!! No! Audio paradise lost!
Maybe subjectivists will take this as a wake-up call - if linear
supplies really make audio equipment sound better, they'd better
demonstrate that in some controlled tests. Then they'll at least be
able to make a reasonable argument against this.

Penny-wise and pound-foolish regarding the linear PSUs. Ever seen how
many lights remain on at all times in government offices? Turn those
off first before banning linear PSUs.

No doubt the EU will be jumping on the bandwagon, as
The best audio stuff is the stuff you make yourself, and they can't ban
that, so it's no big deal.
I'm not sure that linear supplies are better anyway. They are big
and heavy in addition to being inefficient.
Maybe the power line frequency should be boosted to 100 kHz instead.

I've put about 300+ hours on my new Vandersteen 3A Signatures by now
and I've noticed something peculiar lately.

Hi Kim,
Can you quantify (in plain terms) the difference Inguz room correction
makes?

I haven't tried DRC, but it is a lot cheaper than Acourate (free vs
$430+ ).
Acourate does phase correction that other systems don't (as far as I
know).
It would make sense to start out

I switched inputs on the Transporter to a digital source using the
