Besides a remote, it's not clear whether audio outputs are fixed or
variable. What about balanced outputs, fixed or variable? Can analog
audio input be passed out through balanced outputs? Lots of unknowns
that might decide if it makes a cut for a preamp.
However, if somebody finds this concept i
Thanks, a nice list.
I have become a big fan of the AAC Plus streams for classical music.
You'll need to install the mplayer plug-in (just follow the excellent
instructions in the wiki carefully). In general, I find that AAC Plus

Hi all,
I am wondering if the transporter is capable of sending out digital
signal via the Coaxial & BNC output at the same time? Is there any
differents between the two output format?

I agree. In a livingroom no remote control is a design miss.

Dear Friends,
Each modification I outlined has been tried and retained for only one
reason: it sounds better!
Some would say many things we take for granted in high-end audio don't
work, can't work, or may even be harmful (for example, interconnect,
power cords, and isolation). In the last ana

Jitter is lowest for streaming (17ps), and higher for s/pdif (50+ ps

S/PDIF is a unidrectional connection which transmits clock and data

Sean, please correct me if Im wrong, but Im pretty sure that network

So network streaming should be better.

Hi,
Maybe Sean can chime in here.
(Note: all of my comments below regard the Transporter and a cd
transport via the Transporter's digital input.)
What is the Transporter jitter measurements for - streaming music over
the network versus cd transport spdif input on the Transporter.
I'm guessing

NewBuyer,
Are you using the L22 as a DAC?
If so, given that the L22 has word clock, you should clock-sync the TP
to the L22 so that the L22 is the master clock and is controlling the
TP.
You should try this asap witht he included L22sync cable!
