that listening to FLAC drive to an early fadigue.
The strange thing is that in my system I could ear nearly the same
difference also if I
I have got a Grado SR125 headphones to Christmas. The plan is to put a
a spear Squeezebox Classic in the bedroom, and use with the Grados. But
I have seen a lot small headphones Amplifier on ebay, and I was
wondering I anyone had some experience with small headphones Amplifier

On Pink Fish Media forums, there are several members who have a TeddySB3

Welcome to the forums!
Congrats on the Grado headphones! I have a pair of SR80i's that I
really like. Awesome sound for the money.
I have a setup on my bedside table with an SB3 and a headphone amp.
The headphone amp built into the SB3 I found to be noisy. While
listening to quieter parts
10 minutes of listening (analogue), I'm buying another for the bedroom
system!
Bass line so much more clearly defined and everything sound so much
clearer. I'll leave it to warm up before making any more comments apart

I had previously tried using a Beresford

I think you will definitely notice the difference with a good headphone
amp and 'phones of this quality, even without a dedicated DAC. A
dedicated DAC would be a further upgrade. I currently use a Creek
OBH-11 with Sennheiser 650s. I've been thinking of getting a Musical
Fidelity V-Can and
Marco, when you say you can tell the difference after 20 seconds, can
you describe the qualities of the sound that you use to differentiate?
Also, what about AIFF files? They can have an ID3 metadata block.

This evening, I heard an odd sound from my TP. Almost like the sound a
hard drive would make. My server is in a different room.
I turned off the amp, and listened closely to the TP. Near the knob, I
can hear a ticking noise, about twice a second, that sounds like a
clock. Then, every few
