Hi..
Am about to take delivery on a pair of Mozart Grands this SaturdayI
know these are not quite "audiophile" speakers but I figured they were
close enough that this forum was the lesser of the evils as far as
where to post, heheh.
We auditioned Maggies, Definitive Technology Mythos SBL,
You can also configure SOX to downmix into stereo automatically

I had M2Tech hiFace (BNC version) for a month, and I can say it is at
least no worse than my Transporter via Ethernet input. I even like

Any DAC with an asynchronous USB interface will proudly announce that
fact, since the DLIII does not mention anything about its USB input
other than that it has one, my guess is that its a run of the mill
adaptive mode interface.
I would just stick with the Squeezebox, its guaranteed to be bit

Hi guys. No, it's not an issue with DTS surround bit streams; rather an
issue with multichannel lossless compressed FLAC files. These are
accepted by SqueezeCenter/Server and show up as music to play.
Just attached a short 30-sec 6-channel FLAC-compliant file to the bug

Glad to hear no drop outs. A while back when I had it set up, there
were a bunch of stations, many in Eastern Europe, that advertised high

Hi All
I hope this is the right place for this question. I'm interested in
jumping into this world and getting the Squeezebox touch. I'd be
looking to hook it up to the Beosound 9000 via the Aux connection. Is
there any reason this would not work - would I need an amplifier as
well? My iPod c

That is not necessarily so. USB DACs *can* operate in asynchronous mode
(where the master clock is in the DAC and controls the transfer fro
