Can I confirm I just need to replace this section in the changing of
priority section?

My very personal experience:
Changing from Squeezebox Duet Receiver to Touch made a significant
difference, quite an upgrade.
Then buying a Schiit Bifost and connecting it to the Touch made a truly
great difference, I am constantly having little moments of Wow, never
sounded like this before. This
Another possibility is that the Transporter is trying to connect to a
wireless network rather than through an ethernet connection. Please
double check the network setup on the Transporter.
And then there is the possibility that the basic network setup on your
new router needs to be revised.

As a test, can you connect choose to connect to mysqueezebox.com from
the Transporter menu and play anything from there?

Location 2: VB Appliance 3TB (2.0) > LMS 7.7
Are you using your old and new router together, or did you retire the
old one?

Thanks for the information.
I guess the SB of your dreams wold be marvelous, but then again I
believe that Logitech doesn't care.
The small fraction of SB users that care about the last precentages of
SQ are greatly outnumbered by those who find the screen and GUI more
imporntant as it sounds goo
I am very happy with my Touch feeding a Peachtree Audio Nova.

You can measure it on the power consumption.
If you use the screensaver "screen off" there won't be a difference.
It is known to most of the people around that the touch-surface
stays on.
I havn't found the "knob" to turn that one off.
The scre
The new Peachtree Audio DAC-iT is getting very positive reviews.
The Schiit Bifrost DAC is too.
Both are said to outperform their price point.

Regarding the screen-off mod:
I have noticed that the touch-screen still works, It just doesn't
display anything.
What is the difference between selecting screen-off in the SBT user GUI
and running the screen-off mod?
Of course I'll have to check if I can hear any difference with the
screen on.
I use the Emotiva DAC for both the touch and my transporter , a big step
up for both. It has analog volume out and a remote and thus acts as a

Hi folks.
As it seems you (we) are back where you (we) started a couple of days
back.
Obviously those clicks you experience (and me too after trying those
rather radical all-prio-40-to-0 changes) are not acceptable.
But that's tweakers live.
Now the (time consuming) fun part starts. ;)
