I'm no techie but as I understand it the mods are basically focused on
turning off many unnecessary functions that would otherwise tax the
limited processing power that the SB Touch has. For example making sure
that files are coded to PCM on the server, not the Touch, disabling the
Touch screen
Is that chart saying that nothing has a dynamic range more than 20db !

John, yes I was talking about using the TT-interface as is. I'm not a
programmer. Sure, some folks with programming knowledge could test it
in the way you describe...
But the question remains: What's the point of testing the single steps,
if it is the combination of these changes which makes

It's just that very, very few tracks meter above 20db in dynamic
range with the DR Meter tool.
