Hello, I have owned a duet + receiver for a couple of years, the duet being connected direct to a NAS which serves the music utilising LMS. In recent times the duet controller has become superfluous as the Logitech remote app on smart phones is a better solution. I wouldn’t say I am thrilled

It's a bit ironic that You want to save power, but the recommendation is a powerfull server as most consumer grade NAS'es are not powerfull enough ( transcode, webinterface etc.). If your computer is wired to the router You could just try and enable WOL and save power this way. All Squeezeboxes
