Having run the network analyzer all afternoon and seeing no glitches,
and having no LONG Ethernet cables on hand I decided to have a CLOSE
look at my system wiring.
Silly me I found a BAD BNC to phono adapter in the digital circuit.
If the Transporter output buffer runs out of data (e.g. due to network
issue) then there will be a buffer underrun signalled.
Are there any messages in the server.log ?
Can you attach a DAC to digital output to test to see if the problem is
in the analog output stage ?

I am getting the dropouts on my server as well as internet radio.
BTW I replaced the power supply around Feb. 0f 2017 with the suggested
unit as in the

correct. this is normal. Do you get dropouts with both local music
files and streaming (internet radio or spotify, etc.)?
