to replace my old Creek, but if the Rega doesn't then I am
going to have to spend serious money to buy something decent.

list thanks. I don't want to spend crazy amounts, unless they
come with a 110/240V switch!

Thanks, plenty to look at there. I wouldn't go for a valve amp, a good
solid amp for driving a couple of smallish floorstanders.

manufacturers in the US? If so who are they? Or do I need to buy imports
of all the same stuff I get over here, like Creek, Rega, Mission,
Musical Fidelity, NAD etc. etc.

easily in the US. I can't find Mission in the US at all for example, but
I have found Creek. There must be some US manufacturers of quality
stuff!

It's only EMI for the moment. 99p a track is a bit expensive though,
when you can buy plenty of CDs new and old still for 5-8 pounds.

already).

in there! I ask you, would you for one
admit that, and two rip it to FLAC?
Example 2 AC/DC, rip to FLAC or not bother? For me I think it sounds
better in WMA!

on to
squeezebox technology and makes them obsolete, then buy a new turntable
so I can mix the old and the new.
