odd, since you say the volume
is barely enough for normal listening at that point. Can you clarify?
FROM MY PERSPECTIVE, THE AMPS CANT POSSIBLY ALL BE OVERLOADING SINCE,
EVEN WITH THE VOLUME CONTROL AT 85-90% OF MAX VOLUME, THE SIGNAL JUST
REACHES NORMAL LISTENING LEVELS

to be used in the upper quarter of its range, otherwise there
is just too much signal, so I would not expect to see any issue with
low volume fed to a headphone amp.
