on the various instruments. I also have gained
the layout of the various instruments again in the sound stage.
So I am happy again - and the CD player will get used when I want to
save some electricity and turn off my server!

wonder if the Transporter does have a lot more performance in it
however but as I have blown all my cash on the Transporter it may be
many years before I find out! What do people using it on a really good
amplifier think?

to my local hi-fi shop and
connect it up to a top line amp/speaker combo and see if a difference
between the TP and CD player can't be found. The sound is only as good
as your weakest component really and in my setup I don't think this is
the TP (or the CD player).

Thanks for the feedback. I really think the TP needs some excellent kit
to shine and think building a system around it would be worthwhile. But
for a low/mid range system like mine it is a bit of a luxury.
