You can use the ART (Applied Research and Technology) Cleanbox that
balances rca outs and converts them to XLR. You can buy it at any
musical instrument retailer like Sweetwater, Musician's Friend, Guitar
Center, Zzounds, American Musical Supply, etc.

Go to a musical instrument store and ask about near field monitors.
Several companies make them. They are small, and self powered. They
have the best audio quality. Professional engineers use them to mix
recordings. You can't get any better than that.

I have a follow up question.
The QSC's have gain controls as well. Should the QSC gain controls be
set in any specific way.
And the fact that the QSC's have gain controls mean they have built in
preamps?
