speakers quite well. Only when i really sit down for a
critical listening session i switch to my class A amplifiers
(monoblocks).
But mainly i listen to the trend (consumes just a few watt compared to
about 400 hundred of my class A amps)

I agree with previous poster, the V-dac improved the sound of my sb3
quite a bit. Even my wife noticed the inprovement immediately.

I own a MF V-Dac, i would recommend to have a listen to this one as
well. Is cheaper (and i my opinion) sounds better then Cambridge
dacmagic.

and that is why flac
sounds better then mp3, even at 320. The difference between mp3 (at
320) and flac is many times not audible (to me) but especially with
classical/jazz sometimes I think i can hear the difference.

You can also search this slimdevices forum for v-dac, i think there is
some more in the audiophile section.
It is well spent money!!

Listen to the MusicalFidelity V-DAC. It is really good and a bit cheaper
than the dacmagic.

considering it for my V-DAC, but the guy is
thinking about making one especially for the V-series so I'll wait for
that to happen.

.
Even my wife noticed it right away.
I like the positioning of the inputs because this way it is easy to put
the device behind other equipment. I'm never going to touch it, so it
can be out of reach.
By the way, I bought a cable of 1,5 meters.
