have an impact, mostly excessive static and crosstalk.
None of these sound great, but when the kennsington is working it
sounds about as good as a good radio station. Hope that helps.

has seriously compared his Transporter to both the Linn Sondek CD12 and
the Ayre C5x-e Wes uses as his reference I concur. Congratulations to
Sean and his team. It is not easy to win over the audiophile community
on the first try.

reviewer and he like me finds the Transporter to be a neutral digital
source. And he has heard a lot more equipment over the years under
controlled conditions than me and I would guess most of the folks in
this forum. At the end of the day, it is one's preferences in one's own
system that
Oooh!! I bet that does sound good with a Wadia DAC. Isn't it great you
can spend so little on a good transport and then spend the money on a
top tier DAC? It really is a good time to be an audiophile (as told to
me by Wes Phillips at a recent event here in Tacoma, WA.)

kind of doubt the SB3 was primarily designed to be plugged into an amp
and used as a combo source/preamp, though of course, I may be wrong.
Presumably Sean or someone else at Slim Devices could clarify this
issue.

Your issue sounds similar to one I had. I fixed it by changing the
channel my wireless router was transmitting on. I was getting
occasional interference, proably from one of my neighbors wireless
phones, or something. Might be worth a try.
