Obviously, for screws without an axis you need to create one by painting
a blue dot on one of the points.
Then you remove them all, put them in the freezer, slowly defrost and
put them back again...

I can't help you with the CD as I don't own it, but I can say that the
gain control works for me. I needed to kill any instances of the
InguzDSP process and restart slimserver for the new gain settings to
take effect but after that it was fine.

the in ear type in the same price range - I heard a really nice pair of
AKG's in the apple store recently that delivered plenty of bass and
still classified as portable, just.
