Assuming you are testing to a classic player then I think the difference is likely to be some changes to the firmware which slowed down the maximum rate that network test would run at. So I agree its not as accurate now as it used to be (unfortunately). In contrast network test on squeezeplay

I'd also make sure that only one instance of SB server is running for each test. Verify through system processes that you don't have multiple SB services running. I'd also disable the UPnP/DLNA portion of LMS for a more accurate test/comparison, if that might be causing an issue. What are you
