On what amp and speakers you have your Soundblaster or Transporter connected to :-) But the Transporter is a very serious piece of HiFi equipment with state of the art DAC's(just see the price tag), so if connected to downstream equipment which matches its performance, it will beat the

The SoundBlaster X-FI is not a bad piece - but the Transporter is definitely going to sonically outperform it in my opinion. As was said earlier though, it depends if you personally prefer the sound of better (not everybody does)... -- NewBuyer
