Well, I'm not Phil and I'm not familiar with your gear but, in general,
unless you have a pretty "good" system you will not gain much using an
external DAC with the SB3.

Well - the internal DAC is very, very good but can be bettered - at a
price. If I were you, with that system, I'd worry about other things
rather than the DAC.
