Sean is the founder of Slim Devices, but he is not working there anymore
(it's wonderful we keep seeing him on this forum though). I think you
have to contact support for answers to your repair/replacement
questions.

Just to double check - Are you running squeezeserver while testing? The
reason I ask is that I thought mine were not working as well until I
discovered that, on recent firmwares, I had to set the volume each time
when running without the connection to the network, even though I had

The squeezeserver is running, and i have checked volume settings.
I have also tested digital inputs, and they are working.
Then i opened the cover, and i can`t see that there is something wrong
in the connections at the digital input/output board.
But when i opened it there was 2 transistors (i

What are your setting on the Audio page for the Transporter? You can set
alternative options for Digital Output Encoding etc. You probably want
the Volume Control fixed at 100% too.

I have a Weiss Minerva DAC, and have tried connect to SPDIF, Toslink

This might seem like an obvious question but I have to ask, Is the

The volume is set at fixed 100%.
I have tried the xlink reset.
I have changed digital output between SPDIf and AES/EBU.
I also chnged the startime for sound from 0 to 0,25.
But there is no signal to the dac.
Anyone who has an idea what`s wrong.

Sean is the man and if thinks it's broke, it probably is. Can you bypass
the DAC and run coax directly into your preamp?

Should just work. All outputs should always be active. You can try an
xlinix reset but if the analog outs work I would suspect your DAC or the
cable.

can you see a red light from the toslink socket?

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...
SB Touch Beta (wired) - TACT 2.2X (Linear PSU) + Good Vibrations S/W -
MF Triplethreat(Audiocom full mods) - Linn 5103 - Aktiv
I have tried the cable from my DVD player to the DAC, and it works.
There is a red light from the toslink at the Transporter, but there is
no signal to the DAC.
I have tried from my CD player, toslink, SPDIF Rca and AES/EBU to the
DAC, and all three works.
