Hi,
Sorry, just catching up on this. I'm confused about one thing. This
Farnell CPC that everyone is pointint to is a 230 Volt PSU - that's OK
for your standard US 115 volt outlet? Is there a different part number
for a 115 volt?
Thanks!

I'm a bit disappointed with some of these new power supplies. They are
too small, too cheap and there is no ridiculous cast aluminium case
with them.
I think it should be a given that new supplies should cost at least 25%
of the squeezebox price.
these supplies are just too sensible.

Well I was highly suspect about a new power supply improving the sound.
Especially because I use the digital coax feed into my AV amp. But
after all these threads I decided there must be some merit. So I bought

putting your source components on an inexpensive diy powerconditioner.

Darren,
Sorry, the Krell threw me off, and I assumed you were Stateside. From
the enlarged picture of your conditioner, its using a common mode
choke, as does mine, but beyond that, I can't definatively comment. Its
choke is a smaller size physically than I use, but I don't know its core
